When you visit Levy Dermatology, a member of our staff will greet you. In an effort to make your visit a pleasant one, we gather as much of your information as we can when you call to make your appointment. If there are still forms to fill out or gaps in our information when you arrive, our staff will work with you to complete your file.
Our nursing staff will escort you to one of our patient rooms. To prepare for your visit with your Board-Certified Dermatologist or Advanced Practice Provider, your nurse may ask you a few questions.
During your appointment, your provider will develop a customized treatment plan to suit your needs.

Dr. Levy attended Duke University and obtained his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee, where he also trained as a Resident in Dermatology. He has performed thousands of cases of Mohs surgery and is an expert in reconstruction of surgical wounds and skin and soft tissue tumor removal. He performs an extensive array of cosmetic procedures, including injectables,
Dr. Levy specializes in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. In addition to being the founder and medical director of Levy Dermatology, Dr. Levy serves as an Allergan physician trainer where he teaches and advises doctors nation-wide on the proper methods of injecting Botox®, Juvéderm®, and Voluma®.
Dr. Levy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Tennessee and Memphis Dermatology Societies. He is a past member of the Board of the Tennessee Dermatology Society.
Dr. Danielle Levine is a recent faculty member and instructor at Harvard Medical School. She attended Tufts University School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. She then completed her Residency Training in Dermatology at the Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital Residency Program, and subsequently was on staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Dr. Levine has operated specialty clinics in melanoma and pigmented lesions, high-risk skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology. She has authored and won awards for her many publications and has lectured internationally and nationally at dermatology, surgery, oncology, and internal medicine conferences.
To provide high-quality dermatological care, Dr. Levine stays up to date with the most recent advances in skin research. She values patient-centered care and uses this philosophy to help build partnerships with her patients. She believes in focusing on each individual’s specific needs to provide the most comprehensive dermatological care possible.
Dr. Levine is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Cash graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Biochemistry from LaGrange College. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Cash completed his internship in Internal Medicine and Dermatology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. While there, he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Cash specializes in medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in pigmented lesions and high-risk skin cancers. He has also authored several publications.
Dr. Cash is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Medical Association, Memphis Dermatology Society, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Alexander Hicks completed his undergraduate coursework at Middle Tennessee State University with dual degrees in Chemistry and Biology. He went on attend medical school at East Tennessee State University, finishing among the top of his class while also being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and receiving the Merck Manual academic achievement award upon graduation. He then completed dermatology residency training at Vanderbilt University, serving as a chief resident during his final year. Finally, Dr. Hicks completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) Fellowship at St. Louis University.
Dr. Hicks specializes in surgical dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. He has published several peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of dermatology and dermatologic surgery, and has presented at numerous local and national meetings.
Dr. Hicks is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
In addition to his career in dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology, Dr. Hicks also remains actively involved in the teaching and mentoring of medical students and resident physicians for medical licensure and board certification exams through Blueprint Test Prep, where he serves as a senior-level consultant.
Dr. Craig Gordon graduated summa sum laude with honors from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN followed by medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He completed dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. During residency he was able to work and train with dermatologists at all the Mayo campuses including Rochester, MN and Scottsdale, AZ. He served as chief resident during his last year of training.
Dr. Gordon has worked in private practice specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in the Memphis Area since 2015.
Dr. Gordon is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association and the Tennessee and Memphis Dermatology Societies. He is a past member of the Board of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and she earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Lauren was a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) in the intensive care unit at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis for more than six years.
Lauren made her passion for dermatology a reality by joining Levy Dermatology in 2015. She is committed to the highest level of care for her patients and is thrilled to be caring for medical and cosmetic dermatology patients.
In addition to her AGACNP certification, she is a certified CCRN by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and was awarded the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in 2011 while working for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
Jodi graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Union University in 2010 and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in 2014.
Jodi Burgess is a licensed Physician Assistant at Levy Dermatology. She has been working in healthcare since 2004 and as a Dermatology PA since 2014. She specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology. Jodi is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to her patients.
Jodi is licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
Susannah Cash graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2015. She then received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2018, graduating first of her class and earning Highest Honors.
Susannah specializes in Dermatology and has a love for healing patients with diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. She combines her leadership skills with her intelligence and compassion in providing the highest quality of care for her patients.
Susannah is licensed in the state of Tennessee and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
Kelly Johnston is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in 2011.
Kelly joined Levy Dermatology with more than five years of general dermatology experience. In addition to dermatology, she has spent time practicing general and surgical urology with a focus on Women’s Health.
She is a licensed and certified physician assistant specializing in general dermatology.
Kelly has held membership in the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Urological Association, and Urological Association of Physician Assistants.
Dallas achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Loewenberg College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University.
Dallas specializes in general dermatology.
Dallas is passionate about providing quality care that will meet her patients’ needs and goals. She strives to ensure her patients’ concerns are met through listening, providing the most effective treatment options, and individualizing a plan of care for her patients.

Barry Flippo received his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he graduated with honors.
Barry specializes in general dermatology and enjoys educating his patients about their skin conditions, as well as how to best manage them. Attuned to the impact healthy skin has on an individual’s confidence and sense of well-being, Barry finds it very rewarding to see a patient’s quality of life improved through skillful and compassionate dermatologic care.
Barry is licensed in the state of Tennessee and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with her Master of Science in Nursing at Union University, completing her MSN in 2019.
Megan joined Levy Dermatology with over 19 years of healthcare experience. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked in medical imaging with a focus on Nuclear Medicine, and as a Cardiac Registered Nurse. Upon completion of her MSN, Megan worked in Vascular and Interventional Radiology as a hospital and clinic Nurse Practitioner.
Megan specializes in general dermatology to provide exceptional care for all patients.
Megan is licensed by the State of Tennessee, and has been certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She also holds certifications with ARRT and CNMT.
Jade Wilkie is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jade graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Memphis and received her Masters of Science in nursing from the University of Memphis in 2021 graduating with honors.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Jade previously worked in the intensive care unit for 6 years. Jade has more than 2 years of diverse experience in both Internal Medicine and Family Practice. Jade joined Levy Dermatology in 2021 and specializes in Cosmetic Dermatology.
She has always possessed a deep passion for aesthetics following the 'look good, feel good' paradigm. As a stepmother of 4, Jade realizes the importance of self-care and self-worth. She believes by restoring and preserving natural beauty, your true, most confident self may be realized. Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes CrossFit, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her certification as a laser technician through the National Laser Institute, she also has certifications in Botox, HA fillers, Sclerotherapy, and PDO threads.
Magda completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis Loewenberg College of Nursing. She then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Union University, where she graduated with honors.
Prior to specializing in dermatology, Magda worked as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at both Methodist University Hospital and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.She pursued her passion for dermatology by joining Levy Dermatology in 2020, and worked in the clinic as a registered nurse for four years before transitioning into her current role as a nurse practitioner. Magda is dedicated to providing quality care to both medical and cosmetic dermatology patients.
Magda values the importance of providing compassionate, patient-centered care that allows for collaboration and the creation of individualized treatment plans for each of her patients. She is committed to staying up to date on the latest advancements in medical and cosmetic dermatology and incorporating evidence-based practice into her care. Magda's ultimate goal is to not only treat skin conditions, but also to enhance her patients' quality of life by promoting overall skin wellness and self-confidence.
Magda is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of both the AANP and the Dermatology Nurses' Association.
Jessica achieved her Bachelor of Science degree at University of Tennessee, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University. She earned the Academic Achievement award in her Master’s program.
Jessica joined Levy Dermatology in 2021 as a registered nurse and discovered
her passion for dermatology. She mastered skills in assisting surgeries,
general dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Prior to becoming a Nurse
Practitioner, she worked in pediatrics at both Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital
and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Jessica specializes in acne, rosacea, cosmetic injectables, and laser
treatments.
Jessica is licensed by the State of Tennessee and has been certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University, graduating with honors. She also completed a FNP post Master's Certification Program at Union University in 2016.
Lauren specializes in cosmetic injectables and laser treatments. She is passionate about addressing her patient's concerns with a customized treatment plan.
