What Is Treatment Like?
The first step of the DiamondGlow™ involves choosing which diamond tip gradient is best for the patient. The diamond tip allows for gentle exfoliation to remove the top layer of skin. Once the stratum corneum (top layer of dead and dry skin) has been removed extraction begins. Extraction is accomplished by utilizing a pneumatic suction, or vacuum-like technique, to clear debris from within the pores. Finally, the skin is treated with a condition-specific serum. The process of exfoliation and extraction allows the serums to penetrate into the DEJ, or Dermal-Epidermal Junction.
The serum and diamond tip gradient is chosen based on your specific skin concerns and the sensitivity of your skin. DiamondGlow™ can be utilized to treat the face, hands, and body. This treatment is performed in-office and takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
What Is Downtime And Recovery Like?
The patient should expect zero downtime following treatment. You’ll be able to return to work or get back your day-to-day activities immediately. You may see some slight redness which will subside within several minutes to an hour following treatment. Excessive sun exposure should be avoided to ensure optimal results.
