The High Energy Rapid Output (HERO) broadband light (BBL™) laser combines the power of our traditional BBL™ lasers with 4x the speed (faster than IPL), 3x the peak power (more effective) and 2 x the cooling effect (more comfortable than IPL).
BBL™ HERO is a non-ablative laser, so there is no controlled injury to the skin, making it one of the easiest procedures to undergo to achieve smoother, more evenly toned, and textured skin. BBL™ HERO is so gentle, it even works on tanned skin.

What Is Bbl™ Hero Treatment Like?
There’s very little discomfort in your treatment. The BBL™ HERO energy feels like warm pulses and is usually quite comfortable. Your treatment can be complete in as little as 10 minutes per treatment area. You’ll receive instructions for thorough aftercare, such as avoiding direct sun exposure as much as possible and using sunscreen to protect your skin and prevent future sun damage.
Is There Any Downtime?
While you may experience some redness, flushing, and tenderness of your treatment area, these will resolve within a few hours, and you’re free to go about your regular routines as you feel able. We do ask that you apply sunscreen to the affected area. BBL™ HERO treatments are extremely well tolerated by most people, so there’s very little interruption to your schedule.
When Can I Expect Results?
BBL™ HERO is considered one of the most significant advancements in the broad-spectrum pulsed light laser category in 20 years. This means results are possible after a single treatment with improvements continuing over the next week as your skin renews and new cells continue to grow.
