EDUCATION

Dr. Levy attended Duke University and obtained his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee, where he also trained as a Resident in Dermatology. He has performed thousands of cases of Mohs surgery and is an expert in reconstruction of surgical wounds and skin and soft tissue tumor removal. He performs an extensive array of cosmetic procedures, including injectables,

SPECIALIZATION

Dr. Levy specializes in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. In addition to being the founder and medical director of Levy Dermatology, Dr. Levy serves as an Allergan physician trainer where he teaches and advises doctors nation-wide on the proper methods of injecting Botox®, Juvéderm®, and Voluma®.

ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Levy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Tennessee and Memphis Dermatology Societies. He is a past member of the Board of the Tennessee Dermatology Society.

EDUCATION

Dr. Danielle Levine is double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in Dermatology and Microscopic Dermatologic Surgery (MOHS). After completion of her undergraduate degree with honors from Columbia University in New York City, and her medical degree with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, she completed her Residency Training in Dermatology at the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital Residency Program. She was subsequently staff dermatologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and clinical instructor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. 

SPECIALIZATION

Dr. Levine has operated specialty clinics in melanoma and pigmented lesions, high-risk skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology. She has authored and won awards for her many publications and has lectured internationally and nationally at dermatology, surgery, oncology, and internal medicine conferences.

To provide high-quality dermatological care, Dr. Levine stays up to date with the most recent advances in skin research. She values patient-centered care and
uses this philosophy to help build partnerships with her patients. She believes in focusing on each individual’s specific needs to provide the most comprehensive dermatological care possible.

Dr. Levine is double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in Dermatology and Microscopic Dermatologic Surgery (MOHS surgery) and is a Fellow
of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Women’s Dermatology Society, and the American Medical Association.

EDUCATION

Dr. Alexander Hicks completed his undergraduate coursework at Middle Tennessee State University with dual degrees in Chemistry and Biology. He went on attend medical school at East Tennessee State University, finishing among the top of his class while also being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and receiving the Merck Manual academic achievement award upon graduation. He then completed dermatology residency training at Vanderbilt University, serving as a chief resident during his final year. Finally, Dr. Hicks completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) Fellowship at St. Louis University.

SPECIALIZATION

Dr. Hicks specializes in surgical dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. He has published several peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of dermatology and dermatologic surgery, and has presented at numerous local and national meetings. 

ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Hicks is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association. 

In addition to his career in dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology, Dr. Hicks also remains actively involved in the teaching and mentoring of medical students and resident physicians for medical licensure and board certification exams through Blueprint Test Prep, where he serves as a senior-level consultant.

EDUCATION

Dr. Craig Gordon graduated summa sum laude with honors from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN followed by medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He completed dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. During residency he was able to work and train with dermatologists at all the Mayo campuses including Rochester, MN and Scottsdale, AZ. He served as chief resident during his last year of training.

SPECIALIZATION

Dr. Gordon has worked in private practice specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in the Memphis Area since 2015.

ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Gordon is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association and the Tennessee and Memphis Dermatology Societies. He is a past member of the Board of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

EDUCATION

Dr. Venegas is a dedicated physician with a unique background in both Family Medicine and Dermatology. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonom de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, before completing her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio UTRGV. Her passion for skin health led her to pursue a Fellowship in Underserved Dermatology at the same institution.

SPECIALIZATION

Dr. Venegas specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to providing comprehensive skin care to her patients, addressing both medical and aesthetic concerns.

Before transitioning fully into dermatology, Dr. Venegas gained extensive clinical experience as a hospitalist, practicing for three years at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where she also served as an Instructor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Her early career was marked by a dedication to service and research, including a mission trip to Peru with the Global Smile Foundation and a role as a research fellow at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York.

ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Venegas is Board Certified in Family Medicine with specialized training in dermatology. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Dermatology. Her diverse background, combined with her passion for patient care, allows her to offer expert dermatological treatment with a holistic approach.

EDUCATION

Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and she earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.

SPECIALIZATION

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Lauren was a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) in the intensive care unit at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis for more than six years.

Lauren made her passion for dermatology a reality by joining Levy Dermatology in 2015. She is committed to the highest level of care for her patients and is thrilled to be caring for medical and cosmetic dermatology patients.

ACCREDITATIONS

In addition to her AGACNP certification, she is a certified CCRN by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and was awarded the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in 2011 while working for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.

EDUCATION

Jodi graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Union University in 2010 and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in 2014.

SPECIALIZATION

Jodi Burgess is a licensed Physician Assistant at Levy Dermatology. She has been working in healthcare since 2004 and as a Dermatology PA since 2014. She specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology. Jodi is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to her patients.

Jodi is licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

EDUCATION

Kelly Johnston is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in 2011.

SPECIALIZATION

Kelly joined Levy Dermatology with more than five years of general dermatology experience. In addition to dermatology, she has spent time practicing general and surgical urology with a focus on Women’s Health.

She is a licensed and certified physician assistant specializing in general dermatology.

ACCREDITATIONS

Kelly has held membership in the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Urological Association, and Urological Association of Physician Assistants.

EDUCATION

Dallas achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Loewenberg College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University.

SPECIALIZATION

Dallas specializes in general dermatology.

PHILOSOPHY

Dallas is passionate about providing quality care that will meet her patients’ needs and goals. She strives to ensure her patients’ concerns are met through listening, providing the most effective treatment options, and individualizing a plan of care for her patients.

EDUCATION

Barry Flippo received his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he graduated with honors.

SPECIALIZATION

Barry specializes in general dermatology and enjoys educating his patients about their skin conditions, as well as how to best manage them. Attuned to the impact healthy skin has on an individual’s confidence and sense of well-being, Barry finds it very rewarding to see a patient’s quality of life improved through skillful and compassionate dermatologic care.

Barry is licensed in the state of Tennessee and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

EDUCATION

Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with her Master of Science in Nursing at Union University, completing her MSN in 2019.

SPECIALIZATION

Megan joined Levy Dermatology with over 19 years of healthcare experience. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked in medical imaging with a focus on Nuclear Medicine, and as a Cardiac Registered Nurse. Upon completion of her MSN, Megan worked in Vascular and Interventional Radiology as a hospital and clinic Nurse Practitioner.

Megan specializes in general dermatology to provide exceptional care for all patients.

ACCREDITATIONS

Megan is licensed by the State of Tennessee, and has been certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She also holds certifications with ARRT and CNMT.

EDUCATION

Jade Wilkie is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jade graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Memphis and received her Masters of Science in nursing from the University of Memphis in 2021 graduating with honors.

SPECIALIZATION

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Jade previously worked in the intensive care unit for 6 years. Jade has more than 2 years of diverse experience in both Internal Medicine and Family Practice. Jade joined Levy Dermatology in 2021 and specializes in Cosmetic Dermatology.

PHILOSOPHY:

She has always possessed a deep passion for aesthetics following the 'look good, feel good' paradigm. As a stepmother of 4, Jade realizes the importance of self-care and self-worth. She believes by restoring and preserving natural beauty, your true, most confident self may be realized. 

ACCREDITATIONS

In addition to her certification as a laser technician through the National Laser Institute, she also has certifications in Botox, HA fillers, Sclerotherapy, and PDO threads.

EDUCATION

Magda completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis Loewenberg College of Nursing. She then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Union University, where she graduated with honors.

SPECIALIZATION

Prior to specializing in dermatology, Magda worked as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at both Methodist University Hospital and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.She pursued her passion for dermatology by joining Levy Dermatology in 2020, and worked in the clinic as a registered nurse for four years before transitioning into her current role as a nurse practitioner. Magda is dedicated to providing quality care to both medical and cosmetic dermatology patients.

PHILOSOPHY:

Magda values the importance of providing compassionate, patient-centered care that allows for collaboration and the creation of individualized treatment plans for each of her patients. She is committed to staying up to date on the latest advancements in medical and cosmetic dermatology and incorporating evidence-based practice into her care. Magda's ultimate goal is to not only treat skin conditions, but also to enhance her patients' quality of life by promoting overall skin wellness and self-confidence.

Magda is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of both the AANP and the Dermatology Nurses' Association.

EDUCATION

Jessica achieved her Bachelor of Science degree at University of Tennessee, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University. She earned the Academic Achievement award in her Master’s program.

SPECIALIZATION

Jessica joined Levy Dermatology in 2021 as a registered nurse and discovered her passion for dermatology. She mastered skills in assisting surgeries, general dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked in pediatrics at both Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Jessica specializes in acne, rosacea, cosmetic injectables, and laser treatments.

EDUCATION

Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Union University, graduating with honors. She also completed a FNP post Master's Certification Program at Union University in 2016.

SPECIALIZATION

Lauren specializes in cosmetic injectables and laser treatments. She is passionate about addressing her patient's concerns with a customized treatment plan.

Caroline received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arkansas in biology where she graduated with honors. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brothers
University.

Caroline specializes in general dermatology and has been practicing since 2021. She is passionate about helping people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin by combining personalized care with the latest in dermatology.

Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with her Master of Science in Nursing from Union University. She completed her MSN in 2020, earning the Academic Excellence Award.

SPECIALIZATION

Erin joined Levy Dermatology with 10 years of healthcare experience, including nearly 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner in general dermatology. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse in the Neonatal ICU and as an adjunct clinical instructor in pediatrics at Union University.

Erin's focus includes specialized treatments plans and excellent care for her general dermatology patients.

Erin is licensed by the State of Tennessee, and has been certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association- Nurse Practitioner Society.

EDUCATION

Abby Hall is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University in 2006 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia in 2012. She began her aesthetic career in 2022 in Memphis. Her extensive background in anesthesia has shaped her meticulous approach to aesthetics, combining medical precision with an artistic eye for natural, balanced results.

SPECIALIZATION

Prior to entering aesthetics, Abby built her foundation in a high-acuity anesthesia practice, providing care
across surgical, plastic, and obstetric settings. Her background in anesthesia gives her an advanced understanding of facial anatomy, pharmacology, and
patient safety. Abby now specializes in aesthetic injectables and regenerative treatments, with a focus on neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulators, PRF/EZ Gel, and collagen-stimulating therapies. She is known for her balanced, undetectable results and a comprehensive approach to facial harmony rather than chasing trends.

PHILOSOPHY

Abby believes aesthetics should enhance, not alter your natural beauty. Her philosophy centers around subtle
refinement, facial balance, and individualized treatment plans rooted in science and artistry. She approaches each consultation with education first, empowering patients to make confident, informed decisions. Her goal is simple: refined results that look like you, just rested, refreshed, and confident - because injectables should be undetectable. 

ACCREDITATIONS

In addition to her CRNA board certification, Abby has completed advanced training in cosmetic injectables,
biostimulators, PRF techniques, and laser-based skin rejuvenation. She also serves as faculty for Evolus Academy, where she trains and mentors other injectors in safe, evidence-based aesthetic practices.
