How Long Does a HydraFacial® Take?
One benefit of HydraFacial® is the ability to have the treatment and return to your daily activities immediately. Hydrafacial can take between 30-60 minutes, depending on the level of treatment you choose. We offer 3 types – Signature, Deluxe, and Platinum. You will not need any numbing and will not feel any discomfort during this quick, gentle process. Your vibrant, rejuvenated skin becomes visible right away. You might look mildly flushed, but this usually lasts less than an hour.
What are the Steps of a HydraFacial®?
The three steps of a HydraFacial® treatment provide effective skin rejuvenation that works on even extremely sensitive skin.
Cleanse
The process begins with cleansing and exfoliation with a gentle tip that removes dull, lifeless layers of skin. It also includes a light chemical peel that provides further surface brightening. This combination brings healthy new skin cells to the surface and prepares them for treatment.
Extract
HydraFacial® uses vortex technology to remove debris, oil, and dead skin cells from the pores. Even dry skin will look brighter and clearer after pore cleaning. This step leaves the skin fully prepared for treatment with targeted serums.
Treat
HydraFacial® serums focus on a range of skin benefits that include skin firmness, clarity, and anti-aging effects. Your Levy Dermatology provider will choose the serum that best meets your needs. Serums are applied at the end of the facial as treated skin can absorb topical agents much more efficiently.
With the Signature treatment option, the last step is hydration. With Deluxe and Premium options, the hydration step is included after the booster.
