Acne treatment results will vary depending on your specific skin needs, but most patients can expect to see a notable improvement in the appearance of their pimples and other facial blemishes.

Acne scarring is one of the most difficult aesthetic concerns to treat and really requires a multi-modality approach. With laser and microneedling treatments, patients will have the option to choose fewer aggressive (more downtime) treatments or multiple lighter sessions to reach their goals. The best results from laser treatment for acne scarring can be seen in about 2-3 weeks as scars begin to fade but results really do vary patient to patient. Gradual improvement should continue to occur for several months with long-lasting results for years or more.

Depending on the depth of your laser treatment, you may have anywhere from 1-7 days of downtime. Peeling can occur anywhere from 2-5 days after treatment. During this time, sun exposure should be kept to a minimum.
