In the past, total facial rejuvenation came at a cost; days or even weeks of downtime. These days, minimally invasive procedures are safe, effective, and oh-so-easy. Men and women can address a wide range of skin conditions while improving overall texture and tone with a short in-office visit. Halo laser treatments are a comfortable alternative with very little downtime involved.

Halo is the first and only laser treatment to use both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. Each Halo procedure is customized for the individual patient making recovery vary slightly on a case by case basis. However, patients can achieve maximum results with minimal downtime with the hybrid fractional laser.

What Can You Expect After Halo Laser Treatments?

Halo procedures pair a gentle resurfacing with thermal energy for the best of both worlds. The topmost layers of skin are exfoliated while thermal wavelengths stimulate deep collagen and elastin production. Side effects are typically minimal but may include redness, swelling, and tenderness. The application of a cold compress post-treatment can help to quickly reduce swelling.

The majority of patients are able to return to work and normal day-to-day activities the very next day after a mild treatment. Although redness and swelling can take 1-3 days to fully subside, makeup can be applied after 24-hours. More intense Halo treatments may have a longer recovery time of several days or more.

Whether you’d like a subtle change with less downtime or more dramatic results with a longer recovery period is up to you. The good news is, Halo offers the best possible outcome with the least amount of recovery compared to any other laser treatment.

When Will You See Results?

Most patients will have a smoother, more youthful-looking complexion in just 2-5 days. Continued improvement will gradually occur as collagen production is boosted. While some patients get the results they want with one deeper rejuvenation, others prefer several mild sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
