We’ve all been there. The quest for the perfect bronze. That golden, sun-kissed skin may have been worth it years ago, but it’s likely taking its toll now. Prolonged UV-exposure from tanning beds or the sun can leave us with pesky brown spots, pigmentation issues, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and more.

You may feel no solution in the world could reverse the damage that’s already been done. But, there is hope! You’ll be happy to learn that it is possible to correct symptoms associated with sun-damage.

Depending on your individual needs and desired results, there are several rejuvenation options Dr. Levy may recommend. After a full facial evaluation, he’ll customize a treatment plan just for you. Let’s take a closer look at some of our favorite procedures for sun-damaged skin.

BroadBand Light™ Treatments

* Individuals Results May Vary

BBL™ treatments are designed to improve the overall health of the skin and to restore its natural glow. Intense pulses of light gently heat the skin targeting the dark melanin beneath. BBL™ produces gradual results with several 30-minute in-office visits. Downtime is minimal, and any side effects are short-lived. BroadBand Light™ treatments are ideal for reducing the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, dilated skin vessels, wrinkles, and redness.

You may be a good candidate for BBL™ treatments if you’re looking for a less-invasive procedure that produces subtle results.

Halo Laser Treatments

The Halo device is a hybrid fractional laser that uses both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. The minimally invasive procedure is highly customizable to be as aggressive or gentle as you’d like. Dr. Levy will calculate and target the right depth for your Halo treatment at the time of your initial consultation. Results can be seen in as little as 2-5 days and include a smoother tone and texture, correct discoloration, and reduction in pore size. Collagen stimulation means continued improvement over the course of the next several months.

Halo laser treatments may be for you if you’re looking for a complete skin rejuvenation procedure with minimal recovery time.
