AccuTite

How Does AccuTite Work?

AccuTite is a small radiofrequency (RF) contraction device. Your physician uses a specialized handpiece to insert a thin cannula at precise depths in the skin and subcutaneous fat.

Once placed, RF wavelengths penetrate deep tissues causing the breakdown of fat cells, enhanced collagen production, and skin contraction. Treatments are generally quick and easy, requiring either no or very few stitches and no downtime.

Am I A Good Candidate For Accutite?

You may be a great candidate for AccuTite if you’d like to reduce fat and address skin laxity in areas that are typically stubborn or hard to reach. AccuTite is for facial contouring or problem areas throughout the body, such as the knees, bra fat, underarms, and more. Although nearly anyone can benefit from AccuTite to some capacity, the best way to determine your candidacy is through an in-person consultation.

How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?

Treatment times can vary depending on the area(s) requiring treatment. In most cases, we can complete your actual AccuTite procedure in just 20-30 minutes. However, local anesthesia is provided before treatment to keep you comfortable throughout. You can generally expect to be in and out of your appointment within an hour or two.

What Results Can I Expect?

Many people can get the results they want with a single AccuTite treatment session. Initial results appear in about six weeks, with an optimal outcome occurring within 6 months following. Some patients report continued improvement for upwards of 1-year or more, thanks to additional collagen production.

AccuTite has been shown to produce long-lasting results for 3-5+ years. In addition, AccuTite is safe and effective as needed, so a second treatment can be done for even more skin contraction and contouring.

Is There Any Downtime?

You’ll likely be able to resume many of your daily activities in just a few days following treatment. Side effects of swelling and redness are typically short-lived and subside on their own with this minimally-invasive procedure. Any soreness or tenderness can be addressed with over-the-counter pain medication during the first 5-7 days of recovery.
